Heavily influenced by the likes of Ultravox, Gary Numan and Depeche' Mode to name a few, Eurasianeyes have developed their own take on what they believe is classic synth music. A mixture of synth arpeggio's, electronic bass lines and strong melodies have been key to the development of their debut EP "Silent Cries".

Far Off Land Reviews:

5.0 out of 5 stars   Just when you thought they couldn't get any better.........., 20 Aug 2013

Eurasianeyes are back with possibly the most addictive song of 2013.

Mixed by the legendary Geoff Pickney of Tenek fame, this perfectly structured song ticks every box that any fan of electronic music could wish for.
'Far Off Land' is packed with soaring melodies, powerful vocals, excellent drum programming and one of the most infectious lead synth. riffs I've heard in ages.
There have been so many exciting electronic music releases this year, and this song is definitely one of the highlights. It is totally magnificent.

So, does it get any better than this? Well for now, no. However, there is another EP planned for later on this year. THAT'S when it will get even better.

Enjoy.

With tracks like this these guys are gonna be kicking some real ass.
This track is showing the progression of Geoff Pinckney as a Producer but it is also showing the raw talents of Paul & Mel.
Yes, It does have the sound of Ultravox but is that a bad thing - Not at all!

Watch Out! Eurasianeyes are here and here to stay. Look forward to seeing them on the near future.

Fantastic debut track from Sunderland duo Mel and Paul. They have infused all that's great about classic 80s electronic pop music such as Ultravox, Depeche Mode and Gary Numan and blended it into this infectious debut song produced by iconic electronic producer/songwriter Geoff Pinckney (of Tenek and Mesh fame). It's a must buy for all fans of synthpop created in the greatest tradition.

5.0 out of 5 stars   Wonderful 2nd Single, 20 Aug 2013

This duo from Sunderland, UK go from strength to strength in the Uk electro scene. Following in the footstpes of the likes of Mesh & Tenek they plough a furrow of swooping electric melodies with harmonic vocals and fantastic catchy choruses. The production fo rhtis track (like their first single She Cries) is handled superbly by Geoff Pickney - bringing clarity and drive to their dystopian, electric vision. Fans of electro stars such as Gary NUman, Thomas Dolby and Ultravox will love this. Buy it.

Hot on the heels of their recent excellent "Silent Cries" EP comes the fabulous new track from this Sunderland based duo. Possibly the best track they have released as of yet, great vocals and soaring synths make for an epic journey! Watch them fly..

There is something truly epic about "Far Off Land" by Sunderland based band Eurasianeyes, Sweeping synths and beautiful vocal melodies combine to make a song even "Ultravox" would be proud of. A song that stays in your head long after the track has finished playing. 5 stars for an epic track from a band that deserve every success.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stunning Debut Release, 19 July 2013

I you are a fan of Ultravox & Numan, then this is the band for you. This is their first release and it's a superb statement as to what the band are all about. Strong vocals, electronic rhythms & basslines, and then we get to the main synth melodies. These are MASSIVE !!! This stuff is classic synth music and will get stuck in your head for a very long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars New Sound for the New Generation of Synth Kids, 20 July 2013

Eurasianeyes hail from Sunderland, previosuly offering such acts as Dave Stewart, Kinickie, Futureheads & The Toy Dolls to the musical world. Much like their predecessors they possess a knack for a great tune.
The debut EP surfs the current trend for synth-pop yet inhabits a darker and more melodic world than most of the vacuous drivel that masks for the genre in the UK top 40. Wearing their hearts (and their debts to acts like Gary Numan, Thomas Dolby and Ultravox) on their sleeves they create lush synthetic sounds over five gloriously produced cuts of music that would sit just as well on any retro 80's compilation as it would on a modern synth collection. "Afterworld" is a sumptuous opener, full on synths and full on vocals, followed by the dreamy title track "Silent Cries" which has to be one of the finest tracks released so far in 2013. "Chaos In Mind", "Guardian Angel" and "Jealousy" make up the EP. A must-have purchase for any fans of the new wave of synth-pop and along with bands such as Tenek, Mesh, Analog Angel and Sinestar they fly the flag for the return of what Numan once called 'Machine Music'. Do yourself a favour - buy it and whilst at it check out the other bands mentioned.

5.0 out of 5 stars Synth Pop At It`s Best!!!, 20 July 2013

This is without doubt the best music purchase I have made this year. As a huge fan of bands such as Ultravox, Visage and Gary Numan, it`s easy for me to spot the influences these artists have had on this synth duo. But they are no mere copycats. They have a sound all of their own which shines on five beautifully performed tracks with outstanding production. "Silent Cries" by Eurasianeyes is classic synth pop that can be included in any playlist of 80`s synth music but is fresh enough to be played alongside the best electronic music of today. An epic debut from a promising new band.

These guys have come out of nowhere with an EP of consistently high tunes with the guiding hand of Tenek's Geoff Pinckney. Not a weak track on here, nice vocals, tasteful production and well worth £3.95 of anyone's money! Look forward to seeing what they come up with next...
